SOUTHWEST LINCOLN COUNTY WATER DISTRICT

MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS

 

Call To Order:

 

The Meeting of the Southwest Lincoln County Water District was called to order at 10:05 A.M., Wednesday, July 11, 2018 by Chairman Donald Tucker.

 

Present: The Board members present were Donald Tucker Robert Whitson, Gary Hodges and William Turner. Also present were David Whitlock, Megan Jones and Carla Young. Jon Culton was absent.

 

Conflict of Interest: Donald Tucker asked if there were any “Conflicts of Interest”. None were stated.

 

Minutes: The minutes of the June 13, 2018 regular board meeting were reviewed. Gary Hodges made a motion to approve the minutes; Robert Whitson seconded the motion. The minutes were approved as presented.

 

Bills: The Board discussed the bills for June 2017. William Turner made a motion to approve the minutes; Gary Hodges seconded the motion. The bills were approved for payment.

 

Treasury Report:

 

The Treasury Report as of June 30, 2018, was as follows: the balance of the investments 5/31/18 of $615,358.08 was comprised of—General Fund, $65,428.34; Construction Fund, $96,284.54 Equipment Fund,   $10,876.71; Water Works Fund, $247,329.97; Revenue Bond Fund, $130,450.13 and SDWRF Reserve Fund, $2,947.19.     With the addition of interest for June of 980.40, the balance in investment accounts is $616,338.48 as of June 30, 2018.

 

Personnel Policy and Employee Reviews: Carla Young and David Whitlock’s evaluations have been completed and approved. The Commissioners will review the Personnel Policy for any changes they want to make.
Addendum to Mutual Aid Agreement with Yachats and Waldport: The Board discussed the Addendum and asked for some changes to be made.   Carla Young will make these changes and have the Addendum ready to sign at the next Board meeting.

 

Adjournment: Gary Hodges made a motion to adjourn the meeting; William Turner seconded the motion and the meeting was adjourned at 1:43 A.M.
